SAMMY GIANOPOULOS - OWNER
​
Sammy Gianopoulos is a distinguished restaurateur based in North Carolina. He is known for his successful establishments, including Fratelli’s Italian Steakhouse, Sammy G’s Tavern, and Three Bulls American Steakhouse. His culinary journey began at age twelve, and he has gained extensive experience in the industry, influenced by his father, Terry Gianopoulos, a veteran restaurateur. Sammy holds a degree from Johnson and Wales Culinary School and has held significant roles, including lead chef at the Biltmore Estate and Executive Chef at Louie Blue’s Seafood Grill at 20 years old.

In 2000, he launched his first restaurant, Gianno’s, followed by Aquaria Seafood Grill in 2004 and The Factory by Sammy G in 2005. He went on to help build another ½ dozen concepts
around the state. His achievements include multiple awards, such as Businessman of the Year from the High Point Chamber of Commerce and the IFMA Silver Plate Award in 2022. Sammy is involved in various community organizations and boards, including the Boys and Girls Club and Second Harvest Food Bank.

He restructured his ventures, selling Gianno’s and Aquaria to establish partnerships for new dining experiences. He also contributes as a shareholder in ZorAbility and Sammy’s Sliders franchise system, overseeing culinary innovation. Beyond his professional endeavors, Sammy is engaged in his church community and enjoys a family life with his wife, Yiota, and their daughter, Roxanne.
JOHNNY PAPAS - OWNER

JoJohnny Pappas is a restaurateur and entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Charlotte, NC now living in Winston-Salem with his wife and their two children. Prior to becoming a dining proprietor, Johnny worked in an array of fine establishments in the Charlotte area for over a decade. It was in these upscale experiences that his love of food and its ability to bring people together blossomed into a lifelong devotion to the culinary arts. His natural talent to serve others dedicated him to the world of hospitality.
In 2010, Johnny met his match in the visionary Chef Sammy Gianopoulos. Together, the duo formed Crisp Hospitality Group, a restaurant brand seeking to operate multiple dining concepts that are respectful of the past, exciting for the present, and sustainable

for the future. Crisp Hospitality restaurants consisting of Fratelli’s Italian Steakhouse, Three Bulls American Steakhouse and Sammy G’s Tavern were conceptualized to uphold the highest level of food quality and service in a fun and inviting atmosphere for all guests.
Beyond his role as an entrepreneur, Johnny is deeply committed to giving back to the community that has embraced his culinary endeavors with open arms. He volunteers this time to his church, schools around the city, and multiple charitable events within the Triad area. With hospitality at his core, he hopes to continue serving Winston Salem and surrounding areas.

ZACH VLAHOS - OWNER

Zach Vlahos is a dedicated leader in the Winston-Salem restaurant scene. He is co-owner of CrispHG, one of Triad’s most prominent restaurant groups. His passion for hospitality and culinary excellence is rooted in his education at the Second Harvest Food Bank Providence Culinary Training program, where he honed the skills that helped drive his success in the industry.
A proud West Forsyth High School alumnus, Zach is deeply connected to his community. He is an active member of the member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, serving on the parish council and participating in various community initiatives. His commitment to service extends beyond his church as he continually seeks ways to give back to Winston-Salem.
Beyond his professional and community involvement, Zach is an avid sports enthusiast and a lifelong supporter of Wake Forest athletics. He enjoys playing golf and exploring the top courses throughout the Carolinas in his free time.
Zach’s journey with Crisp Hospitality began in the kitchen, where he worked tirelessly to learn every aspect of the business. He climbed the ranks through hard work, dedication, and a deep passion for the hospitality industry. He ultimately became a partner, playing a key role in the company's continued growth and success.
